Accessibility statement

Robots relay. Humans decide — and every human should be able to use this site. TellRobots is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Our standard

This site aims to conform to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities.

What we do

• Semantic structure. Pages use real headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers and keyboards can navigate them.
• Keyboard access. Every interactive control — navigation, buttons, forms, the orbit controls — works without a mouse, with visible focus states.
• Text alternatives. Meaningful images carry alt text; purely decorative graphics are marked so assistive technology can skip them.
• Readable type. Body text starts at 18px with generous line height, and text scales cleanly when you zoom or raise your system font size.
• Color with backup. Color is never the only carrier of meaning — labels, shapes, and text reinforce it.
• Reduced motion. If your system requests less animation, the floating, spinning, and marquee effects switch off.
• Contrast. Ink on paper colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast for normal text.

Known limits

Accessibility is ongoing work. Some decorative orbit animations may still move for users who have not set a reduced-motion preference, and third-party fonts load from Google Fonts. If anything on this site is hard for you to use, we treat that as a bug.
